CAIRO: The Sultanate participated on Monday took part in the 89th session of the Standing Arab Media Committee at the headquarters of the Arab League, headed by Dr Abdul Mohsen Farouk Elias, Chairman of the Standing Arab Media Committee.
Ali bin Khalfan al Jabri, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Information chaired the Sultanate’s delegation to the meeting. The current session of the committee discusses several items, including “The Role of the Arab Media in Countering Terrorism”, reviewing the recommendations of the 17th meeting of the Permanent Group of Experts on Follow-up of the Role of Arab Media in Countering Terrorism.
The Arab Media Standing Committee will discuss the draft of Arab Media Map for Arab Sustainable Development 2030. — ONA
