Rabat: The Sultanate, represented in the Omani National Commission for Education, Culture and Science (ISOC), participated in the fourth session of the open days of the regional and international organizations (ISESCO, ALECSO and the Bureau of Arab Education for the Arab Gulf States), which is being held in Rabat, Morocco.
The two-day session aims at enhancing coordination and exchange of information between national committees and international organizations, to contribute to the development of higher education, and promoting the concepts of dialogue, moderation, and tolerance. Mohammed bin Sulayem al Yaqoubi, Secretary of the Omani National Committee for Education, Culture and Science, presented a working paper on “Taking Advantage of the Projects of International Organizations”, in which he addressed indicators on the status of the national commissions and the challenges they face in carrying out their tasks and responsibilities.
