AMMAN: The Sultanate is taking part in 1st Jordan International Watercolour Forum, which is being organised by Jordan National Gallery of Fine Arts, in cooperation with the International Watercolour Society (IWS).
The forum involves the participation of a number of Omani artists, namely Fahd al Maamari, Sultan al Kharousi, Saleem al Salami and Sheikha al Riyamiyah.
The watercolour forum, which lasts till next September, is considered the first at the level of the Arab world, including paintings for about 120 artists.
Besides the Arab countries’ artists, the forum is also involving artists from Canada, Turkey, Hong Kong, Albania, India, Brazil, Bulgaria, Ecuador, Romania, Iran, Ghana, Pakistan, Spain, Russia, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Italy, Malaysia, Bangladesh among others.
ART SYMPOSIUM
Maryam bint Mohammed al Zedjaliyah, Fine Artist, is taking part in the 3rd edition of Cairo Amman Bank Gallery (CABG) Art Symposium in Jordan.
The symposium, which will conclude its activities today, involves several male and female artists from various countries. The 3rd edition includes programmes and artistic activities, such as artistic seminars, tourist tours, besides organising visits for the historic and popular places in Jordan.
