MUSCAT: The Sultanate, represented by the Ministry of Information, will take part in Beijing International Book Fair from August 23 to 27.
The Sultanate’s participation aims to highlight the Omani culture, as well as bright civilised, heritage and historic aspects of the Sultanate.
The Sultanate’s pavilion, which will take part for the first time in this exhibition, will include various literal, religious and historic publications, besides a collection of books about the Sultanate in English, Spanish and French languages.
A corner will be dedicated for a collection of programmes and documentaries for visitors to familiarise them with cultural, heritage and tourist aspects, as well as photos for prominent civilised and natural landmarks of the Sultanate. The Sultanate’s pavilion will also contain a collection of books and publications of the Ministry of Information, as well as publications of the Omani Society for Writers and Literati, Nizwa University, Cultural Club and the National Records and Archives Authority (NRAA). — ONA
