Sultanate, EU hold consultations session

MUSCAT: A session of consultations was held at the Foreign Ministry on Monday between the Sultanate and the European Union (EU). The Omani side was chaired by Dr Mohammed bin Awadh al Hassan, Acting Under-Secretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs, while the EU side was chaired by Michele Cervone, Head of the EU to the GCC. They discussed a number of areas of the joint cooperation between the two sides, including the exemption of Omani citizens from the Schengen visa. — ONA
