Sultanate, Egypt sign MoU in public administration

CAIRO: The Sultanate and Egypt held an official discussions session on the sidelines of the meetings of the Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO) which will be held during April 29-30. Representing the Sultanate at the meeting was Shaikh Khalid bin Omar al Marhoon, Minister of Civil Service, while the Egyptian side was represented by Hala Helmy el Said, Minister of Planning Monitoring and Administrative Reform. At the beginning of the session the Egyptian minister underscored the importance of strengthening the existing cooperation between the Sultanate and Egypt in various fields particularly the field of administrative development and enhancing the performance of government employees.


Al Marhoon hailed the historic strong relations and mutual cooperation between the Sultanate and Egypt in all fields noting that the meeting comes within the context of consultation, discussion, exchange of expertise in the civil service filed as well as fostering cooperation between the two friendly countries. A memorandum of understanding between Oman’s Institute of Public Administration (IPA) and the National Management Institute (NMI) in Egypt was signed during the session. — ONA
