BERLIN: The Sultanate continues its participation at ITB Berlin (Internationale Tourismus-Börse Berlin), on March 8-12.

At the second day of the event, the Sultanate signed partnership agreement between ASAAS and a leading company in hotel management in the presence of Ahmed bin Nasser al Mehrzi, Minister of Tourism, met with a number of leading German tourism export companies.

Salim al Maamari, Director General of Tourism Promotion at the Ministry of Tourism, who is taking part in the Sultanate’s pavilion said that the Ministry takes part regularly in ITB because it is the biggest specialised travel and tourism exhibition in the world.

He added that ITB provides a platform for meeting and communication between the Omani companies and their international peers. It also provides an opportunity for sharing information, ideas, programs and networking.

He pointed out that this year’s version witnessed the participation of Salam Air and a number of Omani SMEs who were briefed on the latest development in this field.
