The Sultanate strongly condemned the terrorist truck rampage at Manhattan downtown in the US city of New York that led to the death of 8 people and injuries to 12 others, according to the statement issued by the Foreign Ministry on Thursday. The statement affirmed the Sultanate’s solidarity with the friendly United States of America in countering terrorist actions that target to destabilise security and stability, and considered against all humanitarian norms and values.

The Sultanate expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to families of the victims, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
