MUSCAT: The Sultanate, represented by the Ministry of Tourism, will take part tomorrow in the Arab Tunisian Forum for Tourism Investment organised by the Ministry of Tourism and Traditional Industry in Tunisia in collaboration with the Arab Tourism Organisation.
The Sultanate’s delegation to the forum will be led by Ahmed bin Nasser al Mehrzi, Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the current session of the Arab Ministerial Council for Tourism.
The forum provides an ideal opportunity to advise investors of the incentives and facilities provided by Arab countries to encourage investment.
It also helps in displaying the available investment opportunities by the public and private sectors in tourism field.
The organisation of the forum helps in enhancing the Arab tourism project and encouraging investment in the Arab countries by creating a mechanism for joint cooperation to eliminate challenges and provide incentives that improve performance of the economies in these countries.
The conference sessions will shed light on the plans and strategies for developing the Arab tourism industry and will also develop strategic public-private partnership in the Arab tourism sector. The conference will also discuss the mechanism for Arab tourism and investment cooperation. — ONA
