Suhar child centre is 70% complete

Muscat, Dec 25 - Seventy per cent work has been completed on the Child Center Exploration Center project at Falaj Kabylie in Suhar. The project has been taken up in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Development and supervised by the Jisoor Foundation. Financed by Orbak, it is being built at a cost of RO 180,000. The project, coming up on an area of ​​649 square metres, is designed to provide educational, sports and exploration services for children aged three years and above.


It will provide a fun and interactive environment that enables children to explore sciences around them. It will enlighten children through play/ fun and have areas for both entertainment and education. The park was opened last August with funding from Orbek and technical supervision from the municipality of Suhar. Built on an area of ​​36,000 square metres, it consists of service facilities, entertainment, coffee shop, grounds for football, volleyball, basketball), besides children’s play area, restrooms, a cosmetic fountain and a natural grass playground.
