MUSCAT: The Ministry of Higher Education has carried out a series of orientation programmes for students going to study abroad, particularly in New Zealand and US at the amphitheatre of the Ministry of Education in Al Wutayyah. The students were briefed on systems followed at American airports, study systems and basic preparations that they have to be aware of. Representatives from the New Zealand Embassy have detailed the students about the geographical and culture life of the country, airports’ regulations and pre-arrival information. A number of former graduates highlighted their study abroad experiences and other affairs related to accommodation systems, residence, transportation and food.
