MUSCAT: The Directorate General of Education in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate represented by the Department of Educational Activities recently honoured over 300 innovative students who excelled in educational activities. The winning schools in volunteer projects and collaborators in educational activities are also rewarded.
The ceremony was held in the Educational Training Center under the patronage of Hamad bin Ali Al Sarhani, Director General of the Directorate General of Education in the governorate and in the presence of the Assistant Directors, Director of the Educational Supervision Office, directors of departments and the heads of departments.
The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran followed by Sultan bin Abdullah Al Khunjari, a student from the Shaikh Saleh bin Ali Al Harthy School for Post-Basic Education.
