By Badriya Al Balushi — RUSTAQ:Feb. 18 - An Islamic lecture titled ‘Place your Fingerprint’ was organised by the Representative in Student Services Centre, Rustaq College of Applied Sciences (RCAS). Shaikh Salim al Numani, guidance and counselling expert at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), delivered the lecture at Rustaq Hall. It focused on the aim each person has in life. “People ennoble with their high manners and place their fingerprint in life; individuals are responsible for their fingerprint and its effects over people. Undoubtedly, a person is rewarded for the good or bad fingerprints placed any place,” he said. Shaikh Salim gave some examples for patience and honesty.

Highlighting a few things that the students of Rustaq College should be grateful for, he said they should be thankful they’ve been accepted in this reputed institution. “Many uneducated people dream of studying in such an institution,” Shaikh Salim said, adding: “Students should have aims they should run after and do their best to achieve them.” These objectives, he said, cannot be accomplished without hard work and great effort. “They should be determined in fulfilling them, and avoiding and overcoming all obstacles. Your fingerprint means your existence in life and society.” Students, academic and administrative staff thanked the lecturer for sharing valuable knowledge with them.
