MUSCAT: The Supreme Council for Planning reviewed the performance of the economy and indicators of GDP, inflation rates and performance of the Muscat Securities Market in the light of the continued fall in international oil prices and their impact on the financial situation. The meeting, held under the chairmanship of Dr Ali bin Masoud al Sunaidy, Minister of Commerce and Industry and Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Planning, discussed the status of urban planning and the national strategy for urban development.
