South Korea beat Oman in Asian university tourney

Oman national university football team suffered their a 3-1 loss against South Korea team at the second edition of the Asian University football tournament. With their second victory, South Korea team topped the group. Earlier, the hosts had beat Japan.
In the first half, the score ended 1-1 draw. South Korea went ahead when Shing Yang scored the first goal in the third minute. Sultan al Saadi equalised for the Sultanate team in the 33th minute.
In the second half, South Korean coach made several substitutions to boost their attack. Result was the hosts netting two more goals as Yang Sou and Haben Parck found the target to wrap up the match 3-1. The loss against South Korea came after Oman posted an opening win over guest team South Africa.
Friday is rest day and the action will restart on Saturday and Sunday. Oman will take on Japan on Sunday. Head coach Abdulaziz al Habsi and players have two days to prepare for the crucial match.
