South Indian sensation Shamna Kasim to perform in Muscat

South Indian film actress Shamna Kasim, along with several artistes, is all set to enthrall Oman audience on February 24 as part of Elite Jewellery Vaishakha Sandhya which is getting ready to offer an evening packed with music and entertainment.
Unni Menon, who has carved a niche for himself for singing in different languages, and Gayathri, Akhila, and Afsal who have a strong fan-following, are also expected to regale the audience at the Qurum Amphitheatre.
Organised by the Claps Event Management in association with World Malayali Council (WMC), Vaishakha Sandhya will also see budding local dancers from RDI and other artistes sharing the stage with other leading stage icons such as Nobi, Kishore, Binu, Aziz and the like for nearly two and half hours.
“We are excited by the overwhelming response we received for our earlier stage show called ‘Sreeragam’. Vaishakha Sandhya too is sure to entertain the expatriate population from south India”, said Roopesh Omana, MD of Claps Events.
Muscat Malayalis, the largest online presence of Keralites from across the country, is another supporter of the event which will also be staged at Nizwa Club on February 25, the organisers said at a press briefing.
