Small wave of trough expected in Oman

Northern parts of Oman is expected to experience the small wave of trough but this time it is going to be drizzle to light rain while Muscat area would only experience cloud developments but no rains.
According to Oman Met Office weather forecaster, Mohammed al Shaibani, “the atmosphere is dry.”
Rains are expected in the Batinah area such as Barka, Sohar and Shinas as well as the areas of Musandam Governorate. Al Buraimi governorate is also expected to receive isolated rains.
Sea condition is expected to be slight to moderate.
The Shamal winds (the north westerly winds are expected to continue keeping the temperatures low. Because of the system February will continue to be cooler.
In the desert areas such as Fahud high dust raising winds during the afternoon can be expected.
