MUSCAT: The Muscat Municipality on Sunday signed an agreement with a livestock company for running and managing two slaughterhouses in Seeb and Al Amerat for five years extendable. The agreement was signed by Mohsin bin Mohammed al Shaikh, Chairman of Muscat Municipality, and Amar bin Amer al Sulaimani, general manager of the company. As per the agreement, Muscat Municipality will lease the two slaughterhouses to be run and managed by the company on a five-year extendable contract starting from February this year to end of January, 2022. This includes running and managing the existing facilities without changing their current condition beside collecting the services fees set by the municipality. — ONA
