Shifting to ISIC4 places Oman on par with world standards

MUSCAT: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry affirmed that shifting to International Standard Industrial Classification (ISIC4) of all economic activities is expected to place the Sultanate on par with the rest of the world’s countries. Using the same ISIC4 version by all public organizations will enhance the technological linkage among these organizations, which in turn will eliminate redundancy of work among public organizations involved in commercial activities. The data of the economic activities at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Manpower and Muscat Municipality has been updated to ISIC4.
