MUSCAT: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry organised a seminar on the study of the industrial gaps
and opportunities matrix in the Sultanate.
The study reviewed 15 investment opportunities in the industrial sector and discussed the modernisation and revision of the industrial strategy 2020-2040.
The opening ceremony of the seminar was held under the auspices of Ahmed bin Hassan al Dheeb, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, who explained that the seminar comes to study the investment opportunities in the industrial sector in the Sultanate and presenting them to the private sector.
He added that the current stage of the industrial sector requires reliance on research and modern technology and work to develop the mechanisms of factories and the search for technology that provides energy and works with better productivity.
