Sayyid Fahd in Saudi to take part in GCC-US Summit

MUSCAT: His Highness Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmood al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, arrived in Riyadh on Saturday to take part in the 17th GCC Leaders Consultative Summit which aims to foster joint Gulf action. On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, His Highness Sayyid Fahd left for Saudi Arabia on Saturday.  HH Sayyid Fahd will also attend the GCC-USA 3rd Summit and Arab/Islamic/US Summit.
He was seen off by Shaikh Al Fadhl bin Mohammed al Harthy, Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed al Futaisi, Minister of Transport and Communications, Sayyid Saud bin Hilal al Busaidy, State Minister and Governor of Muscat, Dr Fuad bin Jaafar al Sajwani, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Dr Abdulmunim bin Mansour al Hasani, Minister of Information, and the Charge D’Affairs of the KSA.
HH Sayyid Fahd is accompanied by an official delegation comprising Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdallah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Saif bin Mohammed al Shabibi, Minister of Housing and Mohammed bin Salim al Toobi, Minister of Environment and Climate Affairs.
