Sayyid Asaad in Istanbul for OIC Summit

As delegated by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos, His Highness Sayyid Asaad bin Tareq al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, arrived in Istanbul, Turkey, on Tuesday evening, to lead the Sultanate’s delegation in the extraordinary Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), scheduled to be held today in Istanbul.
HH Sayyid Asaad is accompanied by an official delegation comprising Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdallah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Abdulamlik bin Abdullah al Khalili, Minister of Justice, Shaikh Mohammed bin Said al Kalbani, Minister of Social Development, Dr Qasim bin Mohammed al Salhi, the Sultanate’s ambassador to Turkey, Sayyid Dr Ahmed bin Hilal al Busaidi, Sultanate’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and its Permanent Delegate to the OIC, Khalifa bin Hamad al Badi and Saif bin Ahmed al Sawafi, Advisors in the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty, Shaikh Salim bin Suhail al Mashani, Head of the International Organizations Department at the Foreign Ministry and Mohammed bin Nasser al Wahaibi, Head of the GCC Department at the Foreign Ministry.
Earlier, HH Sayyid Asaad and his accompanying delegation were seen off by Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah al Hinai, Advisor of the State, Shaikh Saud bin Sulaiman al Nabhani, Advisor of the State, Shaikh Abdullah bin Nasser al Bakri, Minister of Manpower, Sayyid Saud bin Hilal al Busaidy, Minister of State and Governor of Muscat, Mohammed bin Salim al Toobi, Minister of Environment and Climate Affairs, Saif bin Mohammed al Abri, Secretary General of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan and Atilay Ersan, Turkish Ambassador to the Sultanate.
