SalamAir transports 380,000 passengers in 8 months

MUSCAT: SalamAir, the economic air carrier of the Sultanate, made a number of achievements over the past eight months.


The company managed to transport more than 380,000 passengers through operating flights from Muscat, Salalah and Sohar to Dubai in UAE, and Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Karachi, and Sialkot in Pakistan.


Mohammed Ahmed, CEO SalamAir, said that success of any economic carrier relies on providing safe, valuable and low-cost flights.


He affirmed that SalamAir has managed to enhance its status as one of the prominent low-cost air carriers in the region.


He added in a statement that since its launch, SalamAir is committed to redefine the aviation experience in the region and enhance the status of the Sultanate on the international arena for the aviation sector.


He pointed out that the company is focusing now on providing services that meet the needs and aspirations of travellers for the untapped and short destinations. — ONA
