ROP opens new police command

IBRA: The Royal Oman Police celebrated the inauguration of a new building for North Al Sharqiyah Governorate Police Command and graduation of a new batch of police recruits under the auspices off Shaikh Abdullah bin Mohammed al Salmy, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs, in the presence of Lt Gen Hassan bin Mohsin al Shraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs. The minister of endowments and religious affairs accompanied by the inspector general of police and customs unveiled the memorial plaque announcing the official opening of the police command building and inspected the new building. The building comprises multi-purpose halls, an operation centre, a criminal lab, administrative offices and police services buildings which includes passport and residency, traffic and civil status, among others. — ONA
