ROP foil attempt to smuggle 100kg hashish

Muscat – Royal Oman Police’s (ROP) Directorate General for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances successfully foiled an attempt to smuggle 100kg of hashish across the border in a cargo truck.

ROP said the accused, who is an Arab national, was caught attempting to drive the truck across the border in Buraimi in the early hours of Monday morning.
