MUSCAT: The Royal Horse Racing Club (RHRC) at the Royal Court Affairs (RCA) will organise the first horse race of the new season (2017- 2018) at Al Rahba Racecourse in the Wilayat of Barka today. The race will include 8 rounds as the 1st round will be for pure Arabian horses for 1,600 metres whereas the 2nd round will be dedicated for thoroughbred horses for 1,600 metres as well. The 3rd round will be for pure Arabian horses for 1,600 metres while the 4th round will be for pure Arabian horses for 1,200 metres. The 5th round will be for pure Arabian horses for 1,200 metres whereas the 6th round will be dedicated for pure Arabian horses (local breed) for 1,200 metres. The 7th round will be for thoroughbred horses for 1,200 metres while the 8th and last round will be for pure Arabian horses for 1,200 metres as well. — ONA
