Registrations open for Indian community event

The Indian Social Club (ISC), Oman, on the occasion of State visit of Prime Minister of India to Oman, is organizing a community event on February 11 , in Muscat. The members of Indian community, who wish to participate, may register through the Embassy of India website ( by clicking on the register button on the special pop-up, which will appear on the website, said a statement from ISC said.

The statement added that seats will be allotted on first come first served basis, subject to availability and security checks. Registrations will be closed, without prior notice, once the desired number of participants have registered and no further requests will be accommodated.

Indian community members willing to attend the Event will have to arrange transport on their own and reach the venue in Muscat by 2 pm. Except wallet and mobile phones no other items will be allowed to be taken inside the venue. It may be noted that there is no safe depository at the venue. Snacks, juice /water will be provided at the venue, while invitations which will be issued to registered participants are non-transferable and must be carried along with the Resident card Card. No other identity document will be accepted for confirming the identity of the participant.

Date and venue for collecting the invitations will be intimated to the accepted applicants by SMS, the statement said.
