RAO commander, SAF chief receive Korean military delegation

MUSCAT: Maj Gen Matar bin Salim al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO), received in his office at Muaskar Al Murtafa’ on Tuesday a delegation from Armed Forces of the Republic of Korea, led by Maj Gen Kang Insoon, who is currently visiting the Sultanate.
The two sides exchanged viewpoints on military matters of common concern. The meeting was attended by Brigadier Said bin Bukhait Tabook, Senior Staff Officer at the RAO Command, Brigadier Saad bin Juma al Farsi, Director General of Organisation and Plans at RAO, and the Ambassador of Republic of Korea to the Sultanate.
Lt Gen Ahmed bin Harith al Nabhani, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), also received Maj Gen Kang Insoon.
Lt Gen Al Nabhani welcomed the guest, who expressed his delight to visit the Sultanate.
The two sides exchanged viewpoints and discussed several issues of common concern. The meeting was attended by Brigadier Hamad bin Rashid al Balushi, Assistant SAF Chief of Staff for Operations and Planning, Air Commodore Maktoum bin Salim al Mazroui, Assistant SAF Chief of Staff for Training and Joint Exercises, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Sultanate and SAF senior officers. — ONA
