RAFO, RNO carry out medical evacuation

Muscat: The Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) and the Royal Navy of Oman(RNO), in coordination with the Maritime Security Center, evacuated an injured man and two deceased onboard of an Indian oil tanker in the Sea of Oman following a fire onboard of the tanker.

The injured person was taken to Khoula Hospital in Governorate of Muscat for treatment.

The bodies of the deceased were also transferred to Sultan Qaboos Port for necessary action.

This comes within the framework of the humanitarian roles and tasks provided by the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), along with other institutions and other government agencies, to all citizens, residents and passers-by. –ONA
