Qatari minister affirms solid ties with Sultanate

MUSCAT: Mohammed bin Abdullah al Rumaihi, Minister of Municipality and Environment of Qatar, affirmed the strong, deep-rooted Omani-Qatari relations, describing these relations as “good and solid” in various areas of joint cooperation. In a speech published by a local newspaper, the Qatari Minister of Municipality and Environment said that the Sultanate is an important resource to provide the Qatari market with all kinds of vegetables and fruits, and through the re-transfer of containers from the ports of the Sultanate to the Qatari ports through shipping lines. Al Rumaihi pointed out that a large proportion of goods reach the ports of Doha through the Sultanate’s ports, which increase the level of cooperation, support and future partnership between the two countries. — ONA
