Muscat: The Pakistan School Muscat (PSM) held a number of activities on the occasion of the 47th National Day, one of which was a ‘special assembly’ held recently. The other activities included a special prayer of thanks for the achievements under His Majesty Sultan Qaboos.
A group of students presented a tableau, while a speech was delivered by a student on the significance of the event. A poem was recited in praise of the nation.
A walk was also organised on the occasion, with students waving the national flags along the route. They held handmade portraits of His Majesty the Sultan during the walk. The event culminated with the singing of national anthems of both Oman and Pakistan.
Ataullah Niazi, Senior Principal, felicitated the Omani people in general and Omani colleagues in particular, and extended his heartiest wishes on behalf of staff and students of PSM to the people of the Sultanate.
