IBRI: The Royal Oman Police on Wednesday celebrated the opening of Al Dhahirah Governorate police command and the graduation of a new batch of police recruits in the Wilayat of Ibri under the auspices of Dr Fuad bin Jaafar al Sajwani, Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, in the presence of Lt Gen Hassan bin Mohsin al Shraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs. The chief guest distributed prizes to excelling graduates and then launched the new building and toured the facilities accompanied by the inspector general of police and customs. The new command is one of a series of modern security projects implemented by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) general command with a view to carrying out the roles of monitoring services provision. The building comprises a multi-purpose hall, the operations centre which receives reports and organises police patrols, a crime lab, administrative facilities and services buildings.
