GoAir set to to start Muscat-Kannur flights

Muscat: The Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) has approved India’s GoAir to operate seven weekly flights from Kannur Airport in Kerala to Muscat International Airport.

The operation of flights will start from February, 1 2019, the first such services from Muscat to the newly opened Kannur airport in Kerala.

The flight from Kannur is scheduled for 8 pm to arrive in Muscat 10.15 pm local time. The return flight will leave Muscat at 11.15 pm to arrive at Kannur at 4.15 am local time.

Budget carrier GoAir was recently licensed by the Indian authorities to conduct services to Abu Dhabi, Muscat and Dammam from Kannur.

GoAir will be fifth Indian airline after Air India, Jet Airways, Indigo and SpiceJet to operate from Muscat, while Jet Airways is expected to wind up operations from February 10.
