MUSCAT: In cooperation with the Olympic Solidarity (OS) of International Olympic Committee (IOC), Oman Olympic Committee (OOC) will organise a course in English language for OCC and sports associations’ employees. The course will be held in the context of OOC’s keen interest in qualifying its employees and providing them with the necessary skills and efficiencies enabling them to uplift their performance at work.
The programme has been prepared to be commensurate with the employees’ need to improve the standard of English language in their field of specialisation. The participants will receive an IELTS certificate upon completion of the course. Eleven employees have been selected to do an entrance test on Monday 11 July 2017, and the course will begin in mid-August. Initially, the experience will be evaluated to see if it can be repeated in upcoming years.
The OOC has always been keen on training its employees and various sports cadres to benefit from the support programmes provided by the Olympic Solidarity with the aim of honing and qualifying national cadres.
