MUSCAT: Mouaid al Busaidy recently received the Excellence Award in Civil Engineering and Roads from the Technical College of Limerick, Republic of Ireland. He studied civil engineering at the Limerick Institute of Technology in the Republic of Ireland and graduated with a bachelor’s degree this month. He is currently continuing his studies at the Technical Institute in Galway City for an honorary degree. The award came in as a surprise for Al Busaidy as students with the same specialisation had bigger experience and efficiency in the field of work, especially in road engineering. “It was an indescribable feeling being chosen as the best person in a particular field and gives me further inspiration,” he said.
