Omani Haj Mission arrives in Saudi

The Omani Haj Mission for 1438 AH landed in the Saudi city of Jeddah on Saturday. Led by Shaikh Sultan bin Said al Hinai, the mission was seen off upon departure at the Muscat International Airport by Shaikh Dr Kahlan bin Nabhan al Kharousi, Assistant Grand Mufti of the Sultanate and a number of officials at the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs.


Soon after arrival at the King Abdulaziz Airport in Jeddah, the mission will head to Makkah Al Mukarramah.


Part of the mission will be sent to Al Madinah Al Munawarah to serve 9,000 Omani pilgrims who will arrive there and who are part of a total of 14,000 Omani pilgrims registered with the e-registration system.


During its stay in Makkah Al Mukarramah and Al Madinah Al Munawarah, the Omani Haj Mission will provide services to Omani and resident pilgrims as well as other pilgrims to help them perform their rites seamlessly. The mission comprises the awqaf and religious affairs delegation as well as administrative, financial, medical, police, media, scouts and supervisory delegations. — ONA
