Abu Dhabi: Participants in the Omani-Emirati military exercise (Cooperation- 2) continue to carry out the proposed events according to the plans for the sequence of events and training activities, which will continue until February 14.
The participants from both sides today implemented some stages of the exercise accompanied by the application of different field assumptions within the plans and the exercise programme to achieve the desired goals.
It should be noted that the second version of this exercise comes within the framework of military cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
The first exercise was carried out in the Sultanate in 1997.
This exercise is part of the annual training programmes carried out by the Royal Army of Oman (RAO) with other countries. Such exercises aim at increasing combat efficiency, developing leadership skills, exchanging experiences, activating training plans and joint exercises, and supporting joint military cooperation between the Sultanate and other countries. — ONA
