The Sultanate of Oman expressed its strong condemnation of and outrage at the explosion at a ceremony in the British city of Manchester that has resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries.


The Foreign Ministry of the Sultanate of Oman, in a statement, reiterated its firm position on the rejection of violence and terrorism regardless of their source and whatever their motives and reasons are, as well as its rejection of all criminal acts that terrorize innocent and peaceful people, and are contrary to human values and principles.


The statement expressed the condolences of the Sultanate to the families of the victims and to the friendly British government, as well as its wishes for the speedy recovery of the wounded.
