Muscat: Oman Olympic Committee participated in a three-day seminar of Chefs de Mission for Youth Olympic Games scheduled to be held in Argentina. The seminar was held in the city of Buenos Aires and was intended to familiarise with the latest preparations for the most important youth sports event. Oman Olympic Committee was represented by Ahmed bin Darwish al Balushi, Chef de Mission for the above Games. The seminar reviewed the preparedness including technical, administrative facilities, logistic services and operations and medical and anti-doping services as well as registration of delegations and a full account of the opening and closing ceremonies. It is noteworthy that the Youth Olympic Games will be held in Buenos Aires from 1-12 October 2018 with the participation of almost 3,998 athletes in 32 diverse sports.
