MUSCAT: The Oman Human Rights Commission (OHRC) held its first meeting for the second annual session of the third term under the chairmanship of the Dr Issa bin Said al Kiyoumi, Chairman of OHRC. The meeting discussed a number of topics, and the reference of the Code of Conduct for the Arab Security Personnel, the Arab Code of Conduct for Public Officials, the Media Honor Code in the Sultanate and its compatibility with local laws and international conventions to the Legal Committee for study. The meeting also discussed the recommendations of the Conference on Security and Human Rights Challenges and the mechanism for participation in the third conference to be held in August and a number of other topics on the agenda of the meeting. — ONA
