Oman Aviation Academy unveils new business identity

Oman Aviation Academy celebrated the launch of its new business identity and unveiled a new website as well. The launch took place at a ceremony presided over by Rashid bin Saif al Saadi, Chairman of the Oman Aviation Academy. Also present were Dr Dhafer bin Awadh al Shanfari, CEO of Oman Authority for Partnership for Development (OAPFD), Captain Abdullah bin Murad al Balushi, Executive Director of the Oman Aviation Academy, and a number of board members and high-level officials.


“We are delighted to celebrate the launch of the Oman Air Academy, which coincides with the reception of the second batch of students. We hope that the new identity will contribute to the Academy’s strategy of delivering high quality training programmes,” said Rashid al Saadi.


Dr Dhafer al Shanfari expressed his satisfaction with the progress made by the Academy since its establishment in January 2018, and the commencement of the training phase. The Academy has received two batches of students in cooperation with Oman Air. The ATPL programme allows the trainees to fly with local and local and international airlines.


Enrolment is also being opened for international students, marking a new phase in the Academy’s development as a provider of aviation training services regionally.


“We are pleased to launch the Oman Air Academy’s commercial identity and website, which is an important move for the Academy to expand the network and spread locally and regionally as a destination for those interested in aviation training,” said Captain Abdullah bin Murad al Balushi, Executive Director of the Academy.


The new identity of the Academy was designed in cooperation with a small and medium-sized enterprises in the Sultanate, which reflects the policy and interest of the Academy since its inception with the support of small and medium enterprises and Omani cadres with competence and experience.


The Oman Aviation Academy, which is based at Sohar Airport, is the first aviation training institution in Oman to be implemented in partnership with Oman Authority for Partnership for Development (OAPFD) Airbus Helicopters, Ministry of Defence Retirement Fund, Al Hosn Investment, and Strategic Partner (CAE).
