MUSCAT: The Sultanate, represented by the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (PEIE), will take part in the International Furniture and Decoration Expo (Style Home) in Kuwait, which will be inaugurated on Wednesday. The Sultanate’s participation comes in line with its keenness to promote Omani products locally and internationally through major platforms.

The exhibition aims at introducing import, export and manufacturing entities, project managers, investors and commercial agencies to exhibitors and visitors from around the world, which will eventually promote trade and exports in the Sultanate at all levels, as well as promoting the Omani products abroad.

The exhibition aspires to provide the needs of the Arab markets, promote products, and offer an ultimate platform to exchange experiences among countries in the growing and vital field of furniture and decoration.

PEIE’s participation in the event comes as part of an expanded plan developed by PEIE to promote the Omani products outside the Sultanate.

In addition to its organisation of local exhibitions and events, PEIE has participated in a number of international events, in cooperation with the private sector during the first quarter of 2018.

These participations come to complement the objectives of the Sultanate’s campaign that aims at raising awareness on the locally manufactured products and services and their ability to compete locally and abroad simultaneously. — ONA
