AMMAN: The Omani Human Rights Commission (OHRC) took part in the extraordinary meeting of the Arab Network for National Human Rights Institutions in the Jordanian capital, Amman. The meeting discussed the legal status of the violations against the Palestinian people, and the declaration of the American administration regarding Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
OHRC was represented in the meeting by Plenipotentiary Minister Yousef bin Abdullah al Afifi, OHRC Deputy Chairman. The meeting approved that Arab Network for National Human Rights Institutions will organise an international conference in Algeria on March 30 and April 1 entitled ‘Long-term Israeli occupation and the reality of human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories.’ — ONA
