Oman at Arab interior ministers’ meet in Tunisia

MUSCAT: Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal al Busaidy, Minister of Interior, left on Tuesday heading to the Tunisian Republic to lead the Sultanate’s delegation in the 34th meeting of the Arab Interior Ministers Council, scheduled to be held today and tomorrow. The meeting will discuss several topics, the foremost of which are the security strategy and the course of security cooperation among member states, in addition to issues on the agenda. Sayyid al Busaidy is accompanied by a delegation comprising Maj Gen Hamad bin Suleiman al Hatmi, Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs for Operations, officials at the ministry and the Royal Oman Police (ROP). Sayyid al Busaidy and his accompanying delegation were seen off by Shaikh Said bin Mohammed al Buraiki, Adviser of the Ministry of Interior, the Tunisian accredited ambassador to the Sultanate and officials at the Ministry of Interior and ROP. — ONA
