Prominent among new features which have been made available are of the availability of latest e-bills of water based on the data coming in from the Public Authority for Electricity and Water. It started in October 2017.

It sends electronic invoices to the accounts of the registered people and corporate customers.

These services will also be extended to electricity after we will start receiving data from Muscat Electricity Distribution Company.

The third edition of the application has been designed to be able to accommodate all other companies as soon as their billing data starts arriving.

The Khedmah service has been linked with OmanNet gateway for payment of bills.

The Khedmah would provide a number of options before entering into the payment gateway to provide details of debit card through OmanNet gateway. However, the option for payment through credit card would continue to be directed towards the gateway of CyberService for payments through Visa or Master Cards.

Al Wahaibi also said that the most important features of the new version are: First, the bank charges for debit card transactions which are directed through Oman Net have been reduced, while the credit card transaction fees have not been changed.

Second, the availability of the water bills in the application and the website along with the communications bills, to meet the requirements of customers. Third, the ability to provide services in the corporate section for payment of water bills of corporate customers.
