OIFC to launch Khedmah brand

MUSCAT: Oman Investment & Finance Co (OIFC), Oman’s leading Investment and Services firm offering billing, collection and debt factoring for electricity, water and telecom services, is all set to officially launch the Khedmah brand on April 30 at the Intercontinental Hotel, Muscat.
Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed al Futaisi, Minister of Transport and Communication, will inaugurate the launch ceremony.
Khedmah, designed as a one-stop solution for utility bill payments and recharge of prepaid telecom accounts, marks OIFC’s strategic focus on enhanced customer services based on advanced technology and customer-centric solutions that include a wider network of service outlets, trained staff committed to delivering professionalised services, easy-to-use bill payment kiosks and a smartphone application and dedicated portal.
Commenting on the Khedmah brand, Said Ahmed Safrar, the CEO of OIFC said, “Khedmah is a brand that stands for excellence in everything we do at OIFC. In particular, Khedmah redefines customer engagement and efficiency. Khedmah takes us closer to our esteemed customers, and offers best-in-class services.”
Customers can pay all their electricity, water and fixed telephone, internet and mobile bills at any of the Khedmah outlets and bill payment machines across the Sultanate, or using the highly user-friendly and secure Khedmah smartphone app. Also, customers can pay their bills at any of the OIFC branches or using the OIFC website.
There are currently three Khedmah outlets, and a specialized Khedmah Corporate branch, as well as 26 bill payment machines in the Sultanate. OIFC is working on expanding the Khedmah network to reach out to a wider customer base. Ten more bill payment machines will be operational by the end of June.
Meanwhile, over 39,000 users have already downloaded the Khedmah smartphone application, and its popularity is due to its elegant design, high efficiency, user-friendliness and top-notch security features.
