MUSCAT: The board of directors of Oman Football Association (OFA) held a meeting on Monday under the chairmanship of Salim bin Said al Wuhaibi, Chairman of OFA at its premises in Al Seeb.
The meeting took a number of decisions and reviewed several topics on the agenda including a proposal presented by Dr Jasim bin Mohammed al Shukaili, Second Vice-Chairman of OFA and chairman of the teams’ committee, concerning amending the regulations of victory bonuses and ratifying the bonus for the Olympic team players after winning the second place at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Azerbaijan as well as approving the recommendations presented by the national teams’ committee.
The board also discussed the meetings of the general assembly of the Union of Arab Football Associations held in Cairo recently. It also discussed the concept of governance and its importance in institutional work.
