OCCI delegation signs MoUs in Indonesia

JAKARTA: The delegation of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), currently visiting Indonesia, began meetings with a number of businessmen and officials in Indonesia to identify investment opportunities. Said bin Saleh al Kiyoumi, OCCI Chairman headed the delegation, which includes 25 specialised figures in various business sectors, such as oil and gas, stone and marble, engineering, construction, real estate development, energy, electricity, hotels and tourism, food products, industry, safety, organising events, security systems and other vital sectors.


The Investment Coordinating Board of Indonesia (BKPM) organised a meeting to present the investment opportunities in both countries, where Sayyid Nizar bin al Julanda al Said, Sultanate’s ambassador to Indonesia, delivered a welcoming speech to the delegation, in which he pointed out that the visit of OCCI delegation reflects the Sultanate’s efforts in strengthening trade relations with Indonesia. The meeting saw the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Al Madinah Real Estate Company, represented by Khamis al Kiyoumi, Chairman of the Group and Indonesian Oumawa Company, represented by Alawi Bajer, Chairman of the Group, to build more than 1,000 units of real estate in the heart of the capital, Jakarta. — ONA
