AHMEDABAD: Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) delegation concluded its participation at Ahmedabad Ceramics Exhibition in India, which was concluded on Sunday. The business delegation specialized in ceramics field, which was organized by OCCI, was led by Redha bin Juma al Saleh, Deputy Chairman of OCCI for Administrative and Financial Affairs.
During the visit, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between OCCI and Morbi Ceramics Association in Gujarat with the aim of enhancing business relations, exchange of visits, taking part in exhibitions and conferences and increasing the trade exchange in imports of building materials namely tiles, ceramics, granite, porcelain,
toilet seats and basins.
During the visit, the delegation met with a number of Indian businessmen specialized in construction materials.
They also visited some ceramic factories.
The visit comes as part of “Participate to Promote” initiative, which aims at benefiting the SMEs in the Sultanate by exposing them to other countries’ experiences and practices. The visit also comes in a bid to enhance economic cooperation and partnership between the Sultanate and India and create partnerships between private sectors companies in both countries. – ONA
