Obstetrics & Gynaecology conference on Friday

Muscat: The opening ceremony of the fifth Omani Society of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (OSOG) International Conference will be inaugurated on Friday by Her Highness Sayyidah Dr Mona bint Fahd bin Mahmood al Said, Assistant Vice-Chancellor of International Cooperation at Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) at the Crown Plaza Hotel, Muscat. The conference is organised in collaboration with the Arab Maternal Fetal Medicine expert group (AMFMEG), in addition to the Royal Hospital (RH) and Sultan Qaboos University Hospital (SQUH).


The conference, which will held from November 15 to 18, presents 12 working papers on all specialities of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, hosting 35 speakers from the Sultanate, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Lebanon, Portugal, France, and the UK. The conference aims at updating the participants to the latest advancement in the field, as well as exchanging expertise to enhance the provided medical services. Meanwhile, the first session of the four-day workshops accompanying the conference began on Wednesday at the Crown Plaza hotel.
